Dr. Jeremy Goshorn is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lebanon 芭乐视频官网 College and the Coordinator of Clinical Experiences for the graduate counseling program. He earned his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from The College of William & Mary. He is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Certified Family Therapist. His research and clinical work focus on addressing the mental health needs of marginalized populations such as individuals in recovery from addiction and the LGBTQIA+ community. His scholarly work focuses on investigating how intrinsic strengths and positive psychology factors, such as hope, meaning-in-life, purpose, and self-compassion can act as protective mechanisms and foster positive mental health outcomes.
