Working at LVC

Love Where You Work

Lebanon Ƶ College’s faculty and staff are essential members of our community, helping make the College the best it can be for our students—which is why we want to ensure LVC is one of the best places to work.

From our generous compensation and benefits packages to our focus on employee wellness and other perks, LVC works hard to attract and retain talented faculty and staff while maintaining the health and welfare of our employees.

Competitive Benefits

We support a working environment with a strong work-life balance and benefits that rival other institutions. All LVC employees enjoy benefits like free memberships to the LVC Sports Center, free use of the Bishop Library, and dining services discounts. For full- and part-time employees, LVC provides health insurance and retirement plans, tuition benefits, vacation, sick, and parental leave, and much more.

The More the Merrier

LVC’s on-campus life and events mean you’ll get to engage with students, your peers, and other members of the community in fun ways. From celebrating Homecoming, Commencement, and Convocation, to participating in music and theatre performances, to showcasing work at our annual Inquiry event, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with people outside your department.

Small Town Charm, Big City Benefits

Our beautiful campus is located in beautiful Annville, PA—the quintessential charming small town you see in the movies. There are plenty of restaurants, craft breweries, stores, and parks to fill your time and build your personal community.

We are only 15 minutes from Hershey and 30 minutes from Pennsylvania’s state capital, Harrisburg. If you want to escape to the bright city lights for a bit, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington D.C. are all only 2-3 hours away.

In Service to Others

At LVC, we take pride in involvement with our students—it’s part of what makes our college a special place, and equips our grads to make a difference in their chosen pursuits. We encourage faculty and staff to work alongside students in service and volunteer projects (like on our annual service trips), mentor student groups on-campus, and serve on the boards of local nonprofits (like the Caring Cupboard in nearby Palmyra).
