As Lebanon Ƶ College continues to invest in student success, a new chapter in career development has officially begun. This month, the Breen Center for Career and Professional Development launched LVC Bridge Forward, the College’s new centralized career and professional outcomes platform designed to support students from their first semester through graduation and beyond.

LVC Bridge Forward serves as a one-stop career resource hub that brings together career exploration, experiential learning, employer engagement, appointment scheduling, and outcomes tracking into one connected experience. The system reflects the College’s growing commitment to preparing students not only for graduation, but for meaningful success after college.

“The launch represents more than a technology upgrade. It is part of a broader institutional effort to create clearer pathways between classroom learning and career readiness while giving students greater ownership of their professional journeys,” Says Jasmine Ammons Bucher, senior director of the Breen Center for Career and Professional Development.

“Powered by Breen. Driven by You.,” says Bucher. “This emphasizes our mission that while the Breen Center provides guidance, support, and endless resources, students remain at the center of their  personal career exploration and success journey.”

Through LVC Bridge Forward, students can:

  • Search for internships, jobs, and on-campus employment opportunities
  • Register for career fairs, networking programs, and professional development events
  • Schedule in person and virtual appointments with career advisers
  • Track internships, research, leadership experiences, and other experiential learning opportunities
  • Connect with employers and alumni
  • Access career resources and development tools in one streamlined location

For parents, the platform provides reassurance that students have direct access to modern, professional career tools beginning early in their college experience. Rather than waiting until senior year to think about employment, students are encouraged to engage with career planning from the moment they arrive on campus.

The Breen Center hopes the new system will also strengthen the College’s ability to collect career outcomes data, helping Lebanon Ƶ College continue demonstrating the value of an LVC education while identifying new opportunities to support students and alumni.

Students can access LVC Bridge Forward directly through MyLVC using their existing campus credentials.

As the College community makes the transition to LVC Bridge Forward, the message is clear: career development is no longer a destination students reach at the end of college. It is a bridge they begin building from day one.
