Voter Registration

Important 2026 Deadlines

  • 10/19/2026—Last day to register before the 11/3/2026 election
  • 10/27/2026 at 5 p.m.—Your application for a mail-in or absentee ballot must be received by your
  • 11/3/2026 at 3 p.m.—Your county election office must receive your completed mail ballot by this time. A postmark by 11/3/2026 at 8 p.m. is not sufficient.

 

Voter Registration

Pennsylvania residents with a valid PA driver’s license, PennDOT issued ID or last four digits of their Social Security Number may complete their Ìý´Ç²Ô±ô¾±²Ô±ð. If you are not a U.S. citizen and a resident of Pennsylvania at least 30 days before the next election, you CANNOT register to vote. If you have any questions, call 1-877-VOTESPA (1-877-868-3772).

Location Selection for Registration

Students may select the location where they wish to vote: School or Home Address.

School Residence

Resident students attending LVC may register to vote with their campus address. They do not have to plan to reside at that address permanently or after graduation.

Home Residence

Some students may choose to register or remain registered at their home address either in Pennsylvania or outside of the state.

 

Ways to Vote

In person: On Election Day, the PA polling places are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. (based on your address listed on your voter registration).

Mail-in ballot: Any registered voter may in the next election. You do not have to provide a reason for why you want to vote by mail ballot.

Absentee ballot: If you will  be out of your municipality on Election Day or if you have a disability or illness that prevents you from going to your polling place on Election Day, you can , which requires you to provide a reason for why you want to vote by mail ballot.
